APS filed a rate case request with the Arizona Corporation Commission – an early step in a public, collaborative process. APS asserts that this rate case is designed to support investments n the power grid to serve customers with reliable, affordable and clean energy. The filing would allow for a whopping 22.87% rate increase!  Inflation of energy & fuel costs are already strangling the average Arizona residents. Solar rebates and credits are beneficial to home owners but do not offer relief to renters. Plans also exist to update solar energy self-production benefits.
